The Scania N113DRB was launched for the UK market in 1988, and gained popularity with a number of operators, including Yorkshire Rider. Twenty-six buses new to that operator in 1990/91 and bodied by Alexander remain in the fleet, as well as the now-unique 31087, a Northern Counties Palatine example. A further sixteen Alexander RHs were acquired from Black Prince Buses when that company ceased trading in July 2005. Finally, three East Lancs-bodied examples arrived from First Manchester at the end of 2005. This aged fleet of buses remain pleasing to the eye, particularly the examples which have received the latest 'Barbie' livery.
